Be it known that I. THOMAS C. Cousfrocmof I-Iarrodsbnrg, in the county of Mercer, and State of Kentucky,

The adrnntagcs of this-invention consist in the thorough and certain performance of the operation ofdranw ing nails, and no matter howlong ;are the nails, or hon-tough 'nnd hard the wood holding them; they can be extractedwitliout breaking lay-this tool.

This quality, together with the auxiliary attachment beforenientioned, renders, it e'm'ost'usct ul implementfor householduso, as \rell as being unavailable and c'onrenie'nt tool in the workshop. 1
