IMPROVED MOSQUITO BAR OR TENT.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 48 ,308, dated June 20, 1865.
To on whom it may concern: V Be it known that I, AMOS W. Peron, of the city of Adrian, county of Lenawce, in the State .of Michigan have inventedha new and Improved Self-Supporting Fly and Mosquito 'len t or Bar, designed to protect persons while-re clini-ngfrom the annoyance of both flies and mosquitoes; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exactdescription'thereof, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference on the saiddrawings. v

' Thenature-of' my invention consists in 'the construction of a substantial frame-work com posed of similar materials and ot' a somewhat similar form to that of the common'folding umbrella, bntdifi'ering by having only fonrarms or ribs instead ofeight, and also by having no handle projecting down below the ends'of the arms or ribs when closed, the center post not extending below the point occupied by the runner or slide when the tent is adjusted for use, tlius'afl'ording the person the free use of the hands and arms and free air to breathe whileunder'the tent; and by the application- What I claim, and desire to secure by Let ters Patent, is-
