DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONReferring toFIG. 1 toFIG. 18, embodiments of the present invention provides an electronic cigarette box, including abox body10 with an upper end open and acover body20. Thecover body20 is sheathed around the external of thebox body10 and pivotally connects to a sidewall of thebox body10 by arotating mechanism30 to make thecover body20 removably cover the open end of thebox body10. The two opposite sidewalls of thecover body20 neighboring to therotating mechanism30 correspondingly dispose anopening21 having a width matching with the width of the corresponding sidewalls of thebox body10 and configured for thecover body20 rotating relative to thebox body10. Thebox body10 is a hard box body, and can support the weight of and rotating of thecover body20.
As a preferable embodiment, in the embodiment, the cross-section of thebox body10 is disposed as rectangular approximately. Thebox body10 includes two opposite long-edge sidewalls101,103 (as the front and back of the box body10) and two opposite short-edge sidewalls102,104 (as the left and right side). Thebottom end105 is closed and the upper end is open. Correspondingly, thecover body20 also includes two opposite long-edge sidewalls (front and back)201,203, and two opposite short-edge sidewalls (left and right side)202,204. Atop end207 of thecover body20 is closed to cover the open end of thebox body10, and a lower end is open to be sheathed around the upper end of thebox body10. Thecover body20 is sheathed around thebox body10 from the top end of thebox body10. The long-edge sidewalls201,203 of thecover body20 correspond to the long-edge sidewalls101a,103 of thebox body10. The short-edge sidewalls202,204 of thecover body20 correspond to the short-edge sidewalls102,104 of thebox body10. The opposite long-edge sidewalls (101 and201) and/or (102 and202) of thecover body20 and thebox body10 are rotatably connected by the rotatingmechanism30. The two opposite short-edge sidewalls202,204 of thecover body20 respectively and correspondingly dispose anopening21 having a width matching with the width of the short-edge sidewalls102,104 of thebox body10. When covering the cigarette box, thecover body20 seals or closes the open end of thebox body10, and the corresponding sidewall of thebox body10 seals or closes theopening21 of thecover body20. The sidewalls of thecover body20 are alignment with the corresponding sidewalls of thebox body10. When opening the cigarette box, thecover body20 rotates around the rotatingmechanism30 as the rotating center toward the direction of theopening21, then thecover body20 is removed from the open end of thebox body10. Thecover body20 is supported on thebox body10 by a certain angle with thebox body10. Thecover body20 takes therotating mechanism30 as center to circular rotate around thebox body10. At the starting point, thecover body20 covers on the top of thebox body10 and are aligned with each other; when rotating, thecover body20 can be supported on thebox body10 by any angle. It is understood that, when therotating mechanism30 locates at a position of a half or less than a half of a height of thebox body10, the height of thecover body20 is more than or equal to the half of height of thebox body10, then thecover body20 can take therotating mechanism30 as center to rotate circumference of 360 degrees around thebox body10. Rotating at any location, thecover body20 is always sheathed around thebox body10.
It is understood that, as an embodiment, the rotatingmechanism30 can also be disposed on the opposite short-edge sidewalls of thebox body10 and thecover body20. The two opposite long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 correspondingly dispose theopening21 having a width matching the width of the corresponding long-edge sidewalls of thebox body10 and configured for thecover body20 rotating relative to thebox body10.
Certainly, the electronic cigarette box can be designed as other shapes according to the design requirements, it is required to ensure that the electronic cigarette box can be covered or open by the rotatingmechanism30 when thecover body20 is sheathed around the external of thebox body10.
In the embodiment, the rotatingmechanism30 includes a pivot mechanism cooperatively formed by acircular boss31 and acircular groove32 which are correspondingly disposed on the opposite sidewalls of thecover body20 and thebox body10. The outer diameter of thecircular boss31 is matched with the inner diameter of thecircular groove32 and extends into thecircular groove32. Thecircular boss31 rotates in thecircular groove32 to drive thecover body20 to cover or open thebox body10.
Specifically, referring toFIG. 1 toFIG. 7, the long-edge sidewall of thecover body20 extends toward thebox body10 and forms thecircular boss31. The opposite long-edge sidewall of thebox body10 correspondingly disposes thecircular groove32 having an inner contour matching with the outer contour of thecircular boss31. Thecircular boss31 extends into thecircular groove32 and can rotate in thecircular groove32. In the embodiment, both the two opposite long-edge sidewalls of thecover body10 dispose thecircular boss31, which are coaxially arranged. The two opposite short-edge sidewalls of thebox body10 correspondingly dispose thecircular groove32.
Referring toFIG. 10 toFIG. 16, as another embodiment, thecircular boss31 also can be formed by the two long-edge sidewalls of thebox body10 extending toward thecover body20. The long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 correspondingly dispose thecircular groove32 which is matched with thecircular boss31 and used for thecircular boss31 extending and rotating.
In the embodiment, thecircular groove32 is disposed as a through groove to pass through the corresponding long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 or thebox body10. As an embodiment, when the wall thickness of the corresponding long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 or thebox body10 meets the design requirements, thecircular groove32 also can be a blind groove which is formed by the corresponding parts of thecover body20 or thebox body10 recessed inwards.
Referring toFIG. 2 andFIG. 11, in the embodiment, the two long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 and thebox body10 coaxially disposes therotating mechanism30 to guarantee the stability of the rotating connection between thecover body20 and thebox body10. In the specific implementation, an upper end surface of thebox body10 is disposed as an arc surface which matches the rotating arc of thecover body20. Therotating mechanism30 is preferably disposed in the middle of the electronic cigarette box to make the whole appearance of the electronic cigarette box more beautiful and fashion.
In order to make thecover body20 can firmly cover the open end on the upper end of thebox body10 and to make the electronic cigarette box normally accommodate theelectronic cigarette100, the opposite sidewalls of thecover body20 and thebox body10 coordinately dispose a positioning mechanism which is used to fix thecover body20. In the embodiment, the positioning mechanism includes aconvex point41 and aconcave point42 which are correspondingly disposed on the opposite sidewalls of thecover body20 and thebox body10. The outer contour of theconvex point41 fits the inner contour of theconcave point42 for matching and clamping. In the embodiment, the two long-edge sidewalls of thecover body20 all dispose theconvex point41, and the two long-edge sidewalls of thebox body10 correspondingly dispose theconcave point42. Because the depth of the contact surfaces between theconvex point41 and theconcave point42 is shallow, so theconvex point41 can separate from theconcave point42 by the action of a certain external force. Some other appropriate clamping mechanisms are also suitable for the positioning mechanism.
Referring toFIG. 7 andFIG. 16, in the embodiment, the electronic cigarette box also includes a fixingbase50 which is disposed in thebox body10. The fixingbase50 is used to fix theelectronic cigarette100. The fixingbase50 defines a fixinghole51 along an in-and-out direction of theelectronic cigarette100 for theelectronic cigarette100 passing through. In the embodiment, the fixingbase50 is disposed as a block mechanism and is fixed at the open end of thebox body10. Meanwhile, the top end of thebox body10 is open, and preferably at least one long-edge sidewall102 and/or104 disposes a concave cigarette-accommodatingoutlet11 corresponding to the fixingbase50 to facilitateelectronic cigarette100 taking and placing. The bottom inbox body10 disposes agasket60 corresponding to the fixinghole51 and used to place theelectronic cigarette100.
Referring toFIG. 8,FIG. 9,FIG. 17 andFIG. 18, when installing, thecover body20 is sheathed around the external of thebox body10 from the open end of thebox body10, and makes thecircular boss31 match and latch with thecircular groove32 to form pivot coordination, thus achieving the rotating connection between thecover body20 andbox body10. At the state of thecover body20 covering thebox body10, theconvex point41 matches and latches with theconcave point42 to make thecover body20 stably cover thebox body10. When using, rotating thecover body20, theconvex point41 separates from theconcave point42 under an external force, then thecover body20 rotates toward any one short-edge sidewall of thebox body10 with the aid of therotating mechanism30, and then open thebox body10. Theelectronic cigarette100 can be taken out from the cigarette-accommodatingoutlet11 of thebox body10 afterwards. When covering the electronic cigarette box, making thecover body20 rotate and restore, theconvex point41 matches with theconcave point42 again, and thecover body20 covers the open of thebox body10, thus achieves the covering of the electronic cigarette box.
It is understood that, theopening21 can be two opposite opening disposed on the two opposite long-edge sidewalls201 and203 of thecover body20, or two opposite opening disposed on the two short-edge sidewalls202 and204. Then thecover body20 can rotate around the rotatingmechanism30 along positive or negative direction and towards the direction of the twoopenings21 to open the electronic cigarette box, and remove thecover body20 from the open end of thebox body10. Theopening21 can also be disposed on one of the two long-edge sidewalls201 and203, or theopening21 is disposed on one of the two short-edge sidewalls202 and204. Then thecover body20 rotates around the rotatingmechanism30 toward the direction of theopening21 to open the electronic cigarette box, and remove thecover body20 from the open end of thebox body10.
As other embodiments, theopening21 also can be an opening disposed on the long-edge sidewalls101 and103 or the short-edge sidewalls102 and104 of thebox body10. Correspondingly, the sidewall of thecover body20 seals theopening21, and thecover body20 also can be sheathed in an inner of the upper end of thebox body10. When the cigarette box covering, thecover body20 seals the open end of thebox body10 and the openings on the sidewall of thebox body10. Rotating thecover body20 around the rotatingmechanism30 toward the direction of theopening21 makes thecover body20 turn out from theopening21, thus remove thecover body20 from the open end of thebox body10, and then opens the cigarette box.
In a further embodiment, the rotatingmechanism30 can be other pivot mechanism or hinge mechanism to make thecover body20 rotate away or cover relative to thebox body10. For example, both the corresponding sidewalls of thecover body20 and thebox body10 dispose shaft holes which further matches with a pin or shaft, thus makes thecover body20 rotate away or turn back and cover relative to thebox body10. Thecover body20 takes therotating mechanism30 as rotating center to centrally rotate with thebox body10.
It is understood that the electronic cigarette box described in the embodiment of the present invention is not only limited to the embodiments inFIG. 1 toFIG. 18. The technology characteristics of these embodiments can be combined with each other to form new embodiments.
