Abstract

The present invention relates to a multifunctional chair which is configured to train, rehabilitate, and correct the back spine, pelvis and knee joints of the user. The angle of inclination of a seat member can be adjusted arbitrarily to the front, rear, left and right, thereby preventing back injury due to a sharp angle of inclination from the outset, while at the same time completely preventing rocking of the seat member when back exercises are not being carried out and thus allowing the chair to be used as a general chair. A rolling member provided in a lower part of the seat is improved, thereby imparting a cushioned feel to the seat while restricting the range of tilting movement of the seat to only front-and-back, left-and-right and multidirectional and preventing rotation in such a way as to limit excessive rocking of the seat overall and hence prevent side effects from seated exercises.

Description

Claims (6)

1. A multifunctional chair which includes a support member having a moving means at its lower side; an ascending and descending member which is upwardly installed from the center of the support member and serves to adjust the height with the aid of an operation rod in the interior of a gas cylinder; a rolling member which is installed at the top of the ascending and descending member and is installed in a rolling possible way in a forward, backward, leftward or rightward direction, and a seat member which is installed at the top of the rolling member and allows a user to sit in safe, comprising:
a fixing bracket which is installed at the top of an operation rod of the ascending and descending member and in which an arm rest is fixed at either side of it, a vertical rod with a certain height is installed at its central, upper side, and at the top of the vertical rod is installed a seat plate engaged and installed at the lower surface of the seat member and at the top of the fixing bracket;
a rolling adjusting means in which a cylindrical adjusting part is integrally ford at its peripheral portion with a certain interval from the vertical rod at the top of the fixing bracket, and a plurality of fixing shoulders are formed at inclined angles in multiple steps at the outer surface of the adjusting part, and a height adjusting part is installed at the outer surface of the fixing shoulder in such a way to slide-rotate together with it, and a stopper is formed at an inner surface of the height adjusting part and slides along a plurality of fixing shoulders, and as the lever of one side of the height adjusting part is tilted, its upper side comes into contact with a circular protrusion part provided beneath the seat plate or comes separated from it for thereby preventing the rolling of the seat member or adjusting the rolling angle of it; and
a rolling member in which a spring serving the rolling of the seat member is installed at an outer surface of the vertical rod between the fixing shoulder and the seat plate, and a spherical plane, which is kind of a bearing, is installed at a bearing hole of the seat plate, and the top of the vertical rod is engaged by an engaging bolt at the ball bearing.

A multifunctional chair which includes a moving means110 supporting from a lower surface for movements, an ascending and descending member120 which is upright installed at the moving means110 and serves to adjust the height of the sitting seat, a fixing bracket130 which is installed at the top of the ascending and descending member120 and has at its outer surface a height adjusting part132 with a three-stage fixing shoulder131 and integrally has at its central upper portion a vertical rod133 with a connection hole133a, a seat plate140 which has a connection boss part141 having at its central portion an installation hole141aguiding the vertical rod133 provided at the center of the fixing bracket130, with the upper side of the seat plate140 being connected with the lower side of the sitting seat, a rolling adjusting means160 which passes through the rolling member150 installed between the seat plate140 and the fixing bracket130 and integrally has a slope adjusting shoulder162 at its inner diameter for being selectively engaged from the three-stage fixing shoulder131 of the height adjusting part132 for thereby adjusting in multiple steps the height of the seat plate140 with respect to the rolling member150, and a spherical plane320 and a spherical ball bearing321 which are engaged at the engaging bolt170 engaged to the vertical rod133 of the fixing bracket130 from the upper side of the seat plate140 and at the end portion of the vertical rod133 for thereby guiding the movements at the central portions of the seat plate140, comprising:
hexagonal engaging grooves140aand130awhich are provided correspondingly at the inner diameter of the height adjusting part132 of the fixing bracket130 corresponding to the connection boss part141 of the seat plate140 engaging the rolling member150, and said rolling member150 is characterized in that a hexagonal engaging part152 is formed at the upper and lower portions in a hollow shape to accommodate therein the vertical rod, and a spiral body154 is formed between the hexagonal engaging part152, and a compression spring156 is provided at the inner side of the body154 for preventing the twisting of the rolling member150 together with the cushion function of the sitting seat.
