The present disclosure relates to packing boxes or shipping boxes.
2. Description of Related Art
Most packing boxes for packing electronic products are provided with shock absorbing material to prevent the electronic products from being damaged. Such shock absorbing materials secure an electronic device in a packing box with a fastening mechanism and fill the packing box to surround the electronic device. The shock absorbing material is complicated and costly.
Therefore, there is room for improvement within the art.

Therear side board120, theleft side board130, thefront side board110, and theright side board140 are rectangular. Themiddle portion244 is narrow and substantially rectangular and theside portions246 are roughly rectangular. Theside portions246 include a pair ofbuffer tabs2462,first insertion tabs2464, andsecond insertion tabs2466, andinsertion tabs2468. Thebuffer tabs2462, thefirst insertion tabs2464, and thesecond insertion tabs2466 are roughly rectangular. Themiddle portion244 is located between the pair ofbuffer tabs2462. Thebuffer tabs2462 are located between thefirst insertion tabs2464 and thesecond insertion tabs2466. Theinsertion tabs2468 are extended from thesecond insertion tabs2466. A number ofslits2469 are defined between thefirst insertion tabs2464 and thebuffer tabs2462, and between thebuffer tabs2462 and thesecond insertion tabs2466. Therear insertion board250 is similar to thefront insertion board240. The difference between theinsertion board250 and thefront insertion board240 is that thesecond insertion tabs2466 of theinsertion board250 are shaped like a hook.
FIG. 3 is one embodiment of a perspective view of a packing box9 formed from thecardboard material88 ofFIG. 1. Therear side board120, theleft side board130, thefront side board110, theright side board140, and the fixedboard230 are folded along thefolding lines11,12,13, and14 to be as four side boards of the packing box9. The four side boards perpendicularly connect with each other to form abody99 of the packing box9. The fixedboard230 is fixed on the internal side of therear side board120. Thefirst buffer board210 is folded toward theleft side board130 along themain folding line26 to have thefirst buffer board210 substantially perpendicular to theleft side board130. Thefirst buffer board210 is further folded upward along thefourth folding line212 to have a portion of thefirst buffer board210 between thefourth folding line212 and thefirst edge216 substantially parallel to theleft side board130. The portion of thefirst buffer board210 is folded toward theleft side board130 along thefolding lines58,59,51, and52 in sequence. The portion of thefirst buffer board210 is further folded upward along thefolding lines53,56,57,60, and61 and folded toward theleft side board130 along thefolding lines54 and55. The portion of thefirst buffer board210 is then folded upward along thefifth folding line214 to have a portion of thefifth folding line214 and thefirst edge216 fixed on theleft side board130. As a result, afirst buffer part810 is formed.
FIG. 4 is another perspective view of the packing box9 ofFIG. 3. Referring toFIGS. 2-4, Thefirst buffer part810 includes afront buffer portion812, arear buffer portion814, alower buffer portion816, and twoleft buffer portions818. Thefront buffer portion812 abuts thefront side board110 and is surrounded by thesecond opening2162, theslit2168 and thethird edge218. Therear buffer portion814 abuts therear side board120 and is surrounded by thefirst opening2161 and thesecond edge217.
Thelower buffer portion816 is substantially cuboid and located between thefront buffer portion812 and therear buffer portion814. Thelower buffer portion816 is surrounded by themain folding line26, thefolding lines56,57,53,60, and61, thefirst opening2161, thesecond opening2162, the third opening2163, thefourth opening2164, thefifth opening2162, and thesixth opening2166.
The two leftbuffer portions818 are located between thefront buffer portion812 and therear buffer portion814, and between themain folding line26 and thefifth folding line214. One of theleft buffer portions818 connects with thefront buffer portion812 and is surrounded by thefolding lines60 and61, theslit2168, thefourth opening2164, and thesixth opening2166. Another one of theleft buffer portions818 connects with therear buffer portion814 and is surrounded by foldinglines56,57, the third opening2163, thefirst opening2161, and thefifth opening2165. Thesecond buffer board190 is folded toward theleft side board130 along thefirst folding line192, thesecond folding line194, and thethird folding line196 in sequence to form asecond buffer part820. Two ends of thefifth buffer part850 are configured to individually lock on thefirst buffer part810 and thethird buffer part830. Thefifth buffer part850 includes abuffer portion852, a first fixedportion854, a second fixedportion856, and aninsertion portion858. Thebuffer portion852 is located between the first fixedportion854 and the second fixedportion856, and is formed by folding themiddle portions244 and thebuffer tabs2462 along the two sixth folding lines242. The first fixedportion854 is formed by overlapping the pair offirst insertion tabs2464. Two ends of the first fixedportion854 are located in thefirst opening2161 of thethird buffer part830 and therectangular opening202 through theslits2469. The second fixedportion856 is formed by overlapping the pair of thesecond insertion tabs2466. Two ends of the second fixedportion856 are located in thesecond opening2162 and therectangular opening198 through theslits2469. Theinsertion portion858 is formed by overlapping the twoinsertion tabs2468 and located between the second fixedportion856 and theleft side board130 through theslit2168.
Therear insertion board250 is folded to form asixth buffer part860 the same way as folding thefront insertion board240 to form thefifth buffer part850. Two ends of thesixth buffer part860 are located on thefirst buffer part810 and thethird buffer part830. The structure of thesixth buffer part860 is roughly the same as thefifth buffer part850. Difference between thesixth buffer part860 and thefifth buffer part850 are that thesixth buffer part860 has noinsertion portion858 and the second fixedportion856 of thesixth buffer part860 is shaped like a hook. The second fixedportion856 of thesixth buffer part860 is configured to hook on thethird buffer part830.
When packing an object with the packing box9, the object is located between thefirst buffer part810, thethird buffer part830, thefifth buffer part850, and thesixth buffer part860. Thesecond buffer part820 and thefourth buffer part840 are covered on a left end and a right end of the object. Thefirst buffer part810 and thesecond buffer part820 are opposite and located on a bottom and a top of the left end of the object. Thethird buffer part830 and thefourth buffer part840 are opposite and located on a bottom and a top of the right end of the object. The fronttop board170 is folded along themain folding line22 and the reartop board180 is folded along themain folding line24 to jointly form a top board of the packing box9. The seam between the fronttop board170 and the reartop board180 may be sealed with adhesive tape.
Thebody99, thefirst buffer part810, thethird buffer part830, thesecond buffer part820, and thefourth buffer part840 are integrated. The object may be located between thefirst buffer part810, thethird buffer part830, thesecond buffer part820, and thefourth buffer part840 without filling shock absorption material in the packing box9 while packing.
