Abstract

An organic electroluminescent device including an anode (20), a cathode (80), and at least an emitting layer (50) and an electron-transporting layer (60) provided between the anode (20) and the cathode (80); the emitting layer (50) containing a host material which is a fluoranthene derivative represented by the following formula (1) and a dopant material which is an indenoperylene derivative:

wherein Ar is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group having 6 to 50 nucleus carbon atoms; and Rs are independently a hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group having 6 to 50 nucleus carbon atoms, or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms.

Claims (12)

wherein R10is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted quinolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
m is an integer of 0 to 4;
R11is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted quinolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
R12is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted quinolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
L is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridinylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted quinoliylene group, or a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenylene group; and
Ar1is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridinyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted quinolinyl group.
