BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a golf ball, and more particularly to a golf ball having an enhanced amusement effect.
2. Description of the Related Art
Aconventional golf ball1 in accordance with the prior art shown inFIG. 2 comprises aball body11 having a surface formed with a plurality ofdimples12. However, thegolf ball1 only has a single function, thereby greatly decreasing the playing amusement of the golf ball. In addition, the golfer cannot find the location of the golf ball exactly by viewing the travel direction of the golf ball, so that the golfer needs much time to search for the golf ball, thereby causing inconvenience to the golfer when playing the golf ball.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a golf ball, comprising a ball body having a central portion formed with a through hole.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having an enhanced amusement effect.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball, wherein the golf ball produces whistle like audible sound by provision of the through hole of the ball body during rotation of the ball body after the golf ball is hit, thereby enhancing the playing amusement of the golf ball.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball, wherein the golfer can find the location of the golf ball by the audible sound produced by the ball body so as to shorten the time required for searching for the golf ball, thereby facilitating the golfer playing the golf ball.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSFIG. 1 is a perspective view of a golf ball in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a conventional golf ball in accordance with the prior art.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring toFIG. 1, agolf ball2 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises aball body21 having a surface formed with a plurality ofdimples22.
Theball body21 has a central portion formed with athrough hole23. The throughhole23 of theball body21 has a substantially circular shape. The throughhole23 of theball body21 is extended in the radial direction of theball body21 and extended through a whole radial diameter of theball body21.
When in use, the throughhole23 of theball body21 faces the golfer. Thus, the air passes through the throughhole23 of theball body21 during rotation of theball body21 after thegolf ball2 is hit, so that theball body21 produces whistle like audible sound by friction between theball body21 and the air.
Accordingly, thegolf ball2 produces whistle like audible sound by provision of the throughhole23 of theball body21 during rotation of theball body21 after thegolf ball2 is hit, thereby enhancing the playing amusement of thegolf ball2. In addition, the golfer can find the location of thegolf ball2 by the audible sound produced by theball body21 so as to shorten the time required for searching for thegolf ball2, thereby facilitating the golfer playing thegolf ball2.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
