FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates to a reinforcement structure for sun tent extension canopy, more particularly to a structure to support a canopy extending from the tent.[0001]
Due to the busyness and tension of our daily life, outdoor activities have been popular for many people and families to relax their stress from work and also to have a chance to breathe the natural air. However, many of the outdoor facilities have no roof or covers, people have to either stay under the sun or bring their tent to provide a shady area.[0002]
A conventional tent can cover a limited area only and it may shake when the wind blows. In view of this, the inventor has invented the present invention to improve the shortcomings.[0003]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is the primary object of the present invention to provide a reinforcement structure for sun tent canopy, which is steady under wind.[0004]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a reinforcement structure for sun tent canopy, which is easy to install and to dismount.[0005]
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a reinforcement structure for sun tent canopy, which is inexpensive in manufacture.[0006]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTSA reinforcement structure for sun tent canopy of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, comprises a pair of[0015]extension frames2 connected to the top of two sides of theawning poles11 of thetent1. Eachextension frame2 is composed of anextension pole21, a supportingpole22, a pair ofclamps23 and24 and a reinforcingpole4.
Each[0016]extension pole21 has one end connected to the top end of theawning pole11 while the other end of which is connected to an end of the supportingpole22 which then has its other end connected to thepole11. In such way that theextension pole21, thepole11 and the supportingpole22 forms a triangle to support theextension pole21, which is secured with the a pair ofclamps23 and24 at center portion facing outwardly thereof. Areceptacle3 is formed inward of theextension pole21 with asocket31 thereat for receiving another end of the reinforcingpole4. For the reinforcingpole4 to insert with one end therein, the reinforcingpole4 has astretch cord5 which connects the reinforcingpole4 to thesocket31, as shown in FIG. 3. Anotherreceptacle3A is formed on aside pole12 inwardly corresponding to thereceptacle3 on theextension pole21.
To assemble, the two ends of the reinforcing[0017]rod4 are inserted into thesockets31 and31A of thereceptacles3 and3A, respectively. Theextension pole21 is stretched so that when acanvas14 is placed on theextension poles21, thecanvas14 will remain in a flat and stretch status. Whereas the reinforcingpole4 will hold thecanvas14 at place and prevent thecanvas14 from retreating back to its original position.
To fold the[0018]canopy14, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the reinforcingpoles4 is dismounted from thereceptacle3 and is tied to theextension pole21 with thestretch cord5, whereas the reinforcingpoles4 is secured by theclamps23 and24 as well. FIG. 5 has shown a folded tent that theextension pole21 and the supportingpole22 are both folded towards theawning pole11 of thetent1.
Another embodiment is shown as FIGS. 6 and 7, wherein the[0019]side pole13 replaces theside pole12 of the above. The reinforcingpole4 with thestretch cord5 is secured at its two ends to thesockets31 and31B of thereceptacles3 and3B of theextension poles21 and theside pole13. To dismount, as shown in FIG. 8, the two ends of the reinforcingpole4 are retracted from thereceptacles3 and3B, due to thestretch cord5 is connected to thereceptacles3 and3B, the reinforcingpole4 will be located next to theawning pole11. To mount thetent1, theextension frame2 and theside poles12 and13 are stretched, and then the reinforcingpole4 is inserted into the tworeceptacles3 and3B.
