To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I. Gnome H. GREGORY, a citizen of the United States, residing at East Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Adjustable Shower-Spray Devices, of which the following is a specification.

The invention relates to bath sprays, and the object of the invention is to provide a simple, easily operated device which may be readily attached to or detached from a faucet or analogous water supply, with means for adjusting the position of the spray-carrier, and so arranged as to permit the spray to be delivered in any direction.

The invention consists in certain novel features and details of construction and arrangement by which the above objects are attained, to be hereinafter described and claimed.

The accompanying drawings form a part of this specification and show preferred forms of the invention as it has been carried out in practice.

Figure 1 is aside elevation of the device attached-to a faucet connection and showing the carrier arranged for vertical adjustment in a bathtub, certain portions being shown in vertical section.

Fig. 2 is a vertical section on an enlarged scale, showing the spray-carrier alone.

Similar letters of reference indicate the same parts in both the figures.

Referring to Fig. 1, A is a bathtub and A a faucet connection thereon which may be as usual, equipped with a downwardly projecting nozzle A fi adapted to receive detachably the lower coupling head D of a flexible hose D. e

B is a clamp adapted to engage the faucet connection A and held in such engagement by thumbscrews B It has an outwardly extending short horizontal arm B from which extends a vertical cylindrical rod or bar B of any desired length serving as a standard.

The spray-carrier C is provided with an opening 0 matching to and receiving the rod 13 on which the carrier slides, and has a setscrew E by which it may be moved vertically on the rod, see Fig. 2, and also partially rotated thereon to adjust the carrier at any height and horizontal angle.

I claim 1. In a spraying device of the character set forth, a rod, a clamp thereon adapted to engage a faucet connection and hold said rod vertically, a carrier on said rod having inlet and outlet openings, a hose leading from said faucet connection to said inlet opening, a flexible metal tube connected to such outlet opening, and a delivery nozzle on said tube.
