Figure 1 is a view of the game board. Fig. 2 is a view of the playing piecesemployed in playing the game. Fig. 3 is a view of one of the dice also employed in playing the game.
As disclosed by the'drawings, board has arranged thereon a zodiacal belt with the twelve pointed star in the center thereof. The belt is divided into quadrants each of a diiferent color and divided so as to accommodate nine round pieces which are indicated by the numeral 1. These pieces are the same color as that of the quadrant in which they are placed. These pieces are called planets of which there are nine for each quadrant. The pieces or planets are moved around the zodiacal signs in a counter-clockwise direction in the outer path and clockwise in the inner path until the quadrant having the same color as the pieces is reached, then they are moved in a counterclockwise direction so as to cover each and every one of the spaces included in their'respective quadrant. V sists of three concentric circles indicated by the numerals 2, 3 and 1 respectively, the two outermost, 2 and 3, constituting the counterclockwise path. The counter-clockwise path is divided into twelve segments 5, corresponding to the twelve signs of the zodiac. Eachpath has aniente'ring space for each. quadrant. The first entering space of each quadrant from the outer side is a triangle, indicated by thenumeral 7 Each triangle has its vertex pointed in the direction in wliich the planets .move. The entering spaces from'theouter to the inner paths and from the latter to the star are circles 8 located on the quadrant lines. These entering spaces are called in general gates and take their distinctive names from the quadrant to which they be- 7 V long,'that is, of Aries is'called fiery gate;
that of Cancer watery gate; that of Libra, airy gate,-and that of Capricon earthly gate. There are also four cardinal points of the circle, indicated by the numerals 9, which correspond to the four seasons, that 1s, spring, summer, autumn and winter.
The twelve pointed star, broadly indicated by the numeral 10 is called the mystic star and is closely related to the twelve signs of the zodiac. For each point of the star there is. a corresponding place of safety with a ppint of harmony, indicated by the numeral 1 side each quadrant of the'start are connected with each other by black lines 13 which must be followed in filling the spaces.
As can be seen from the arrangement of the signs in the zodiacal belt, every fourth one is of the same color. The signs or houses of the planets, indicated by the numerals 14, are in the order as follows: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpion, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
