Having thus described., my invention., l claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent: I

l. A typewriter type bar comprising two plate bars, e rotary type carrier adjustable between said bars in bearings thereof, and a. clamp for holdin saidv bars in locked engagement with said carrier.

2. A typewriter type bar comprisingtwo plate bars, a rotary type carrier adjustable between said bars in bearings thereof, anda clamp slidable on said bars.

3. A typewriter type bar comprising two plate bars disposed one on the otherA and provided with registering slots, a rotary type carrier adjustable between said bers in bearings thereof, and a detachable clamp slideble in said slots for holding said oars in locked engagement with said carrier..
