Abstract

An invention relates to by-product coking industry, in particular – to a method for coal carbonization. The method comprises preliminary geological prospecting, stripping of holes directed to the coal bed, realization of heat action on the coal bed without access of air or other oxidizer by means of location of source of heat energy in a form of radiopaque closed container, in which the sources of nuclear radiation are lied for transformation of radiation absorption energy into heat energy, at that container is located immediately into coal bed or near it. The source of heat energy is beforehand rated for the temperatures of technological process for transformation of coal into coke. The invention provides simplification of process for coal carbonization in the places of its accumulation without access of air at its heating under the effect of radiation from container with radioactive material on the coal and reclamation of wastes of nuclear industry, subjected to underground disposal.
