Abstract

The method for definition the coordinates of a land-base source of radio-frequency radiation consists in the setting of a radio-frequency radiation receiver in two points of receiving with known coordinates, then measuring difference in distances from the source of radiation to receivers and record time of measurement, the measured value of difference in distance is used for indication of the first range-difference bearing. Radiation receiving sets are installed on two space vehicles, then measure differences in distances at other time points after dislocation of the space vehicles to another orbit points with coordinates known at each time point, values of difference in distances measured at different time points are used to form second, third and following the range-difference bearings, received range-difference bearings are consolidated in one system of coordinates and are used to define the location of a land-base source of radio radiation, for which purpose a signal sampling of measurements of difference in distances from the land-base source of radio radiation to each space vehicle is formed in the measuring device of radio radiation source coordinates by means of special derivatives. A signal sample of expected values of difference in distances is formed for the same time points, then it is required to compare the sampling of measured values with sampling the expected values of difference in distances and after that to form up the sample of discrepancies.
