Abstract

This invention is related to a rehabilitation assisted training system for use by persons with upper body disability. The device comprises a hand training unit, a conversion unit and a computer processor, wherein, the hand training unit includes a platform accommodating multiple built-in sensors and a user-operated slider installed on the platform. When operator has entered prescribed settings into the computer unit, the screen displays a particular graphic which are directed linked to the sensors on the platform, and then the patient sketches the same graphic pattern while holding on to the slider. The sketched graphic is then transmitted back to the computer processor through the converter to check against the original pattern for accuracy. Through repeated practicing with the acts of stretching, bending and synchronized action of hand muscles, the exercise can help the patient restore his physical fitness.
