1.The invention relates to the electrophoretic deposition of coatings on metals, in particular to suspensions for the deposition of graphite-containing coatings. A known suspension for electrophoretic deposition of graphite coatings comprising: graphite, gelatin, sugar, ammonium hydroxide and water flj. However, coatings obtained from a known suspension possess a high porosity and are not strongly adhered to the substrate. This suspension is different from that known for the purpose of increasing the density and adhesion of coatings, it additionally contains fluoroplastic in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Graphite 16.5-20.4 0.29-0.39 Gelatin 0.29- 0.39 0.175-0.242 Ammonium Hydroxide 1.0-3, o Fluoroplast Else The introduction of fluoroplastic to the composition of the suspension allows to obtain a coating with circumferential density and good adhesion to the substrate due to the inclusion of fluoroplastic in the composition of the coating. The suspension is prepared by adding to the aqueous composition containing wt.%: Graphite 16.5-20.4 0.29-0.39 Gelatin 0.29-0.39 Ammonium vodoproes 0.175-0.242 The rest 1--3% fluoroplast with the dispersion of 1 μm particles with stirring. At a current density of 10–15 gPa / cm, room temperature and redirection, suspensions for 0.5–2 min on silver, copper, and nickel substrates receive coatings as a cathode, containing, in their composition, wt.%: Graphite 84, 4-91; 3 S.Tkar 1.6 Gelatin 1.6 5.5-12.4, 5 torpppas: t obdenadayuschie more density and adhesion with the base, which graphite Sto can be seen from the table. 44 The resulting coatings are heat treated at 300 E for one hour. The density of the coatings was determined by the method of low-temperature adsorption of radioactive krypton, and the adhesion was carried out on an ultrasonic device UZU-O1.
