Abstract

FIELD: medicine, in particular, devices for ophthalmologic operations. SUBSTANCE: the ophthalmologic instrument uses a body with a cutting member, having an external tube with a port, accommodating a movable internal tube with a cutting edge; the body accommodates a pusher linked with the internal tube. The external tube is rigidly connected to the body; the pusher is provided with a return spring; the space of the internal tube communicates with the outlet tube of the suction system through a duct in the pusher, and the body with the cutting member is linked with a handle, in which the plunger is engageable with the rod; an adjusting screw is positioned on the proximal end of the rod, and a sleeve with a sealing is installed in the distal part of the rod on the outlet tube coming out of the rod duct, movement of the sleeve is retained by a retaining ring; the plunger reciprocates due to the lever secured on the axle with the aid of the handle; the instrument is turned with a nut for connection to the handle and with a sleeve for rotational movement of the cutting member. EFFECT: enhanced precision of moving-out of the cutting member, which reduces traumatism of the eye sound tissue and considerably reduces the time of operation.
