Een diermanagementsysteem voor het beheren van een of meer veedieren in een omgeving, voorzien van een lokalisatiesysteem, ingericht om de locatie van het veedier te meten, een op afstand bestuurbaar luchtvaartuig en een besturingsinrichting. De besturingsinrichting is communicatief verbonden met het lokalisatiesysteem voor de autonome besturing van het luchtvaartuig op basis van de locatie van het veedier. Het systeem verder is voorzien van een label ingericht om door het veedier te worden gedragen en om ten minste een meting aan het veedier uit te voeren zoals het meten van een temperatuur, beweging en houding van het veedier. Het label is ingericht om, in gebruik, communicatief verbonden te zijn met de besturingsinrichting. Het diermanagementsysteem is ingericht om informatie over de ten minste ene meting te verwerken. Het verwerken van de informatie over de ten minste ene meting wordt verzorgd door het label of de besturingsinrichting.
