Abstract

A hook device (1) that enables a hanging state of an item from a hook portion (2) to be maintained in a more robust manner. The hook device (1) includes a first member (3) provided with an attachment portion for an object, a second member (4) slidably combined with the first member (3), wherein either the first member (3) or the second member (4) is provided in a hook portion (2) and configured to create, in a switchable manner, a closed state in which an opening (2a) of the hook portion (2) is closed by the slide operation and an open state in which the opening (2a) is opened, and a lock structure (5) that maintains the closed state in a releasable manner.
