Abstract

PURPOSE:To judge whether a printed board is correctly connected to a slot, by judging whether the slot is a slot, to which the printed board is connected, based on an identifying code ID, which is inputted from the slot, to which each printed board is connected, and inherent to each slot. CONSTITUTION:A connecting slot register 4 has connecting flags 41 for bits, which indicate whether a printed board is connected to any slot. A selector 5 is provided so that the content of each bit in the connecting slot register 4 is read sequentially with a CPU 7 on a center board. The CPU 7 and a memory 8 are provided on the center board 10. The slot, to which each printed board is to be connected, is stored in the memory 8. The CPU 7 reads the slot out of the memory 8 and judges whether the printed board is connected to the slot. When the printed board is not mounted on the specified slot, the fact to that effect can be detected.
