Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively obtain a breath or wind response function by providing a blowing input part with a sensor for detecting a blowing input and monitoring an output from the sensor to generate initial data and post data. CONSTITUTION: When breath is brown into the blowing input part 1 through a mouth 1b, the strength of the breath or the speed of an air flow is detected by a window or breath sensor la built in the input part 1. When the blowing input information from the sensor 1a is monitored, the start of sound generation is determined, initial data to be a musical sound control parameter for the start of sound generation are generated, post data to be a control parameter for a musical sound after starting sound generation or during the period of sound generation are generated, and the end of sound generation is determined. Thereby the blowing input information from the sensor 1b is effectively and richly reflected to musical sounds. Consequently an effective breath or wind responsible function is attained.
