Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary power from being consumed at a non- communication time by providing a power source supplying means to supply the power source to a communication adapter when a communication start detecting means detects a communication start and to stop power source supply when a communication end is detected. CONSTITUTION:The control of the power source is executed by providing, to the communication adapter, a communication start detecting means to detect the communication start of a portable terminal 1, a communication end detecting means 7 to detect the communication end of the portable terminal 1 and a power source supplying means 8 to supply the power source when the communication start detecting means 6 detects the communication start and to stop the supply of the power source when the communication end detecting means 7 detects the communication end. Thus, the power source is supplied only from the communication start to the communication end and the power is prevented from being wasted with leaving the power source turned on.
