Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and simply diagnose the operations and instructions of water quality analyzers such as hydrazine meter and electrical conductivity meter by diagnosing the operations and instructions of the water quality analyzers in accordance with the liquid chemical feed rate of a liquid chemical feed pump. CONSTITUTION:The stroke length ST of the pump, the rotating speed VS of a motor, max. discharge FT and the concn. C of the liquid chemical to be fed are detected and the feed rate of the liquid chemical, the electrical conductivity muS and the hydrazine concn. are calculated at the time of diagnosing the analyzers. The calculated values are then called in after a time difference DELTAt and are compared with the respective instruction values (PV1 and PV2) of the analyzers (muS meter and N2H4 meter). Decision is made that the instruction of the hydrazine meter is abnormal if ¦PV1-muS¦>DELTAH. Decision is made that the instruction of the hydrazine meter is abnormal if ¦PV2-N2H4¦>DELTAH (DELTAH is a permissible deviation value).
