Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a great joint strength by covering an oxide superconductive member with a metal followed by baking process, and by brazing the metal member to be jointed through this baked layer. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconductive member is of perovskite type incl. rare earth element, and Ln element, Ba and Cu are contained substantially in the proportion by atomic ratio as 1:2:3. Here Ln is at least one element selected among Y, La, Sc, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu. This oxide superconductor is either of oxygen deficiency perovskite type expressed by LnBa2O7-delta (delta signifies oxygen deficiency) or of perovskite type expressed by YB2Cu3O7-delta. Ni, Cu, etc., is used as covering metal, while Ag wax, Cu wax, solder, etc., is used as brazing substance.
