Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the installing space of a terminal equipment as well as the cost of a circuit and the price of a system by providing a switch mechanism which connects a communication control part or a FAX adaptor in response to an instruction of a basic control part in addition to said basic control part, communication control part and FAX adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A slip image is read by an image scanner 3-1 incorporated in a printer 3 and taken into a basic control part 1-1. When the slip image is sent to a center device or a FAX device, a FAX adaptor 1-3 and a MODEM 4 are connected to a switch mechanism 1-4 by a program instruction of the part 1-1.
