【発明の詳細な説明】本発明は筆記動作をすると同時にその筆記ストロークを
電気信号に変換し、文字等の情報を入力する装置に関す
るものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT EMBODIMENTS The present invention relates to a device for inputting information such as characters by converting handwritten strokes into electrical signals simultaneously with the handwritten strokes.
この種の入力装置を第1図に示す。An input device of this type is shown in FIG.
1はペンの.外筐、2a,2b,2c,2dはそれぞれ
ペンの内壁に設けた感圧素子、3は外筐1の先端の狭持
部4で支持された芯軸で、シャープペンシルあるいはボ
ールペンの芯軸のような構造となっている。Reference numeral 1 denotes the outer casing of the pen, 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d denote pressure-sensitive elements provided on the inner wall of the pen, and 3 denotes a core shaft supported by a clamping portion 4 at the tip of the outer casing 1, and has a structure similar to that of a core shaft of a mechanical pencil or ballpoint pen.
紙にこの装置を用いて筆記すると、芯軸3の尖端が紙と
の摩擦により反作用を受けて外筐1の狭持部4を支点と
して感圧素子2a,2b,2c,2d、にストローク圧
を伝達する。When writing on paper using this device, the tip of the core shaft 3 receives a reaction due to friction with the paper, and transmits a stroke pressure to the pressure-sensitive elements 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d with the clamping portion 4 of the outer casing 1 as a fulcrum.
例えば、第1図イの平面図に示す様な方向eに筆記する
と感圧素子2dに圧力が加わり、fの方向に筆記すると

感圧素子2cを上にし2dを手前にしてペン(入力装置
)を持ち、第2図に示す様な書き方で数字を筆記すると

たとえば数字「2」の場合、最初は感圧素子2aが圧力

なお、第2図は一例であり、実際には4つの感圧素子に

しかしこのような装置では芯軸3の尖端を支点にして、
ペンにある方向の圧力を与えると芯軸3の他端は動き、

これは故意にしなくても、文字の書き始め又は、書き終

また文字の屈折点(第3図kの部分)においても発生す

これらの場合の感圧素子の電気量は不必要であり従来は
この情報をを識別しないで入力していたため、誤認識が

本発明はこのような欠点を除去しようとするもので、以

第4図において1,2a,2b,2c,2d,3,4で

異なる点はインク5を収納した芯軸3の先端に球6を設
け、この球は第5図に示すように4極に磁化されている

また外筐1の先にはそれぞれx,y,z方向を向いたホ
ール素子などの磁気検出素子7x,7y,7zがけられ

紙上にこのペンを用いて筆記すると第1図〜第3図とと
もに述べたと同様な作用により感圧素子は電気力を発生
するが、他方、7x,7y,7zからの電気量も球6が

磁気検出素子6x,6y,6zの電気量が変化してない

したがって書き始め、書き終り時また文字の屈折点では

このように磁気検出素子7x,7y,7zの電気量が変
化している時のみ感圧素子からの情報を出力すれば前述

なお磁気検出素子7x,γy,7zの電気量が変化して
いるのを検出するには、それらの素子γx,7y,7z
の電気量をそれぞれ微分の出力の絶対値の内で1つでも

上記実施例より明らかなように本発明によれば筆記動作
が行なわれていない時に芯軸に加わる圧力にもとすいた
信号を除去する情報を得ることができるようにしたもの

またペン軸はインク供給部を有しており、実際に入力す
