Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify assembling operation of a scroll compressor and to enhance reliability of an injection pipe, by connecting an injection pipe to a back- pressure chamber formed at the back of a turning scroll, and injecting gas into the back-pressure chamber from said injection pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An injection pipe 16 is connected, via an injection hole 15, to a back-pressure chamber 9 formed at the back of a turning scroll 6, and gas is injected into the back-pressure chamber 9 from the injection pipe 16 for maintaining pressure at the back of the turning scroll 6 and supercharging air into a space formed between the turning scroll 6 and a fixed scroll 5 when suction stage of the compressor is terminated. By employing such an arrangement, structure of the injection passage can be simplified. Therefore, it is enabled to simplify assembling operation of the compressor and to enhance reliability of the injection pipe.
