Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform recording in order, without missing or overlapping at restart when jam takes place in a printer, by providing a page memory to reproduce picture information recorded on a jammed recording paper, to the 1st control section.
CONSTITUTION: Picture information expressed with a code is generated to an information output device using a printer from a magnetic tape MT with the control of a main control section and is applied to the 1st control section 102 via an interface 101 and the picture information is taken as information in page unit. The picture information is converted into a dot pattern for recording and generated from a character generator 109 and an output signal 303S generated from the device 109 is recorded on a printer. The device 109 and the printer are controlled with the 2nd control section 105. The control section 105 and the 1st control section 102 are connected and a data selector 103 controlled with the output of the 1st control section 102 is connected with a page storage device 104 to repreduce the picture information. When jam takes place in the printer, the recording in correct order can be made with the information of the device 104.
