Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a system capable of excution for online diagnosis, maintenance, change and addition of a program of plural systems in a remote place by utilizing a public communication circuit with a central computor system. CONSTITUTION:A system a1 is connected to a public communication line (c) by the instruction of an input/output typewriter a2 and its communication to a system b1 becomes possible. When diagnosing each peripheral device of the system b1, a disgnosis program in the system b1 is exceuted by using the execution instructing function for the program, and the result is received by transmitting and receiving function of a global file. For change of a program, etc. in the system b1, said function of the program is available. Debugging after the change is carried out by said function of the global file and the function for instructing execution of the program. For the maintenance of the system b1, the system a1 and the b1 communicate with a telephone and the system b1 sends data to the system a1 in non-synchronization.
