Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction from being generated, through sure operation of a circuit in an identified body, by using a strobo emitter or the like which outputs a strong light instantly for a light emitting section transmitting a trigger light to a body to be identified and utilizing an ifrared ray emitting diode for the light generating section of the body. CONSTITUTION:A body 2 to be identified is fixed to a side of a car 1 in a manufacture process to be identified, and a trigger signal is transmitted to a photodetection section 7 of the body 2 from a light generating section 4 of a computer 3. The body 2 receiving the trigger signal from the light generating section 4 activates a frequency divider and shift registers provided at the inside and generates a light modulated with an identification code corresponding to the car 1 from a light generating section 8. The light from the section 8 of the body 2 is received at a photodetection section 5 of the computer 3 and an identified code is demodulated at a demodulation section from an optical signal. A storbo projector or the like which outputs a strong light instantly is used for the light generating section 4 transmitting the trigger signal, and an infrared ray light emitting diode is used for the light generating section 8 of the body 2 to prevent malfunctions from being generated.
