Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the video quality at high light, by removing the green color of a color reproduced picture due to shortage of beam of the objective at light part, in a simple type color television camera of frequency separation system. CONSTITUTION:A black level of a luminance signal inputted at an input terminal B is fixed at a clamp circuit 8 and applied to a chroma signal gate circuit 10 through a delay circuit 9 for phase mathcing with chroma signal, and the chroma signal given from an input terminal A is divided into two, one is applied to a chroma signal gate circuit 10 and another is applied to a subtraction circuit 11. The chroma signal applied to the chroma signal gate circuit 10 is picked up with gating if the luminance level is more than the reference level and applied to the subtraction circuit 11 and it is subtracted with the chroma signal of others. Thus, from the subtraction circuit 11, the chroma signal erased with the chroma signal for the higher luminance more than the reference level of the luminance signal can be obtained.
