Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an image of high definition by a method wherein an ink blending is performed at the location inbetween each ink storage tank of respective color and nozzles corresponding to the color tone of the manuscript, and the printing is performed using the blended ink, in a multicolor ink jet recording device.
CONSTITUTION: Ink blending devices Y1, Y2, and Y3 are provided in parallel with ink paths l1, l2 and l3 at the position inbetween the ink storage tanks of respective color X1, X2, X3 and a nozzle 4, in the multicolor ink jet recording device, further, switching valves C1, C2, and C3 which actuate by a set signal corresponding with the color of the manuscript are installed. By this, those the three primary colored inks, i.e. yellow, magenda and cyan stored in the ink storage tanks X1, X2 and X3 respectively are supplied to the blending device Y1, Y2 and Y3 by the respective supply pumps P1, P2 and P3 through the switching valves C1, C2 and C3 in accordance with the set signal to be blended in the blending devices Y1, Y2 and Y3. The blended inks are jetted from the nozzle 4, thereby forming a multicolored image.
