Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the pore diameter of an ultrafiltration film even as well as to raise its separation capability by dissolving a dichlordiphenylsulfone-bisphenol cocondensation resin in a mixture of a water-miscible good solvent and a water- immiscible good solvent or nonsolvent.
CONSTITUTION: Dichlordiphenylsulfone-bisphenol cocondensation resin is dissolved in a mixture of a good solvent soluble with the resin and easily miscible with water and a water-immiscible good solvent or nonsolvent to prepare a film-forming liquid. Then, the film-forming liquid is flowed on a porous supporting material, dipped in water, and then further dipped in methanol to obtain an ultrafiltration film. The water-miscible good solvent to be used includes N,N-dimethylformamide, etc., and the water-immiscible solvent to be used includes benzene, toluene, etc., having a boiling point of 40°C or higher. Also, the porous supporting material used includes polyethylene nonwoven fabric, polyethylene sintered plate, etc.
