Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure whether the attaching parts are situated within a range of an allowable error or not and carry out the positioning by making output of a sample and hold circuit proportional with the deviation within a small range of deviation between a sectional center of laser beam and a boundary line of an upper and lower photoelectric transducers elements.
CONSTITUTION: When photoelectric transducers 1, 2 receive laser beams rotating a horizontal plane, they generate voltage e1, e2 proportional to incident quantity of light of the laser beams. This output voltage e1, e2 are received in a state of deviation by y with respect to a boundary line C of the photoelectric transducers 1, 2 from a center line B of the laser beam section A. In the range of small deviation to the boundary line B, the output voltage thereof is changed substantially in parallel with the deviation. This voltage is detected in peak detection circuits 3, 4, the difference is obtained by a subtraction circuit 5, the sum is obtained by an adding circuit 6 and then, the difference voltage of the subtraction circuit 5 is divided by a sum voltage of the adding circuit 6, thereby the output thereof is obtained as a value depending only on a position deviation y of the centerline B of the laser beam section A and the photoelectric transducers 1, 2.
