PURPOSE: To prevent an entry mistake, by displaying the content of an entry through digit sectioning on specified locations corresponding to the types of the content.
CONSTITUTION: An entry register 2 and an entry counter 3 are connected to the output side of a keyboard 1, and a display control section 5 and a display section 6 are connected to the output side. Further, a step display generating section 9 is connected to the output side of the keyboard 1 via a data sectioning key discriminating section 7 and a step display increment section 8. The output side of the step display generating section 9 is connected to the display drive section 5 and the display section 6 and connected to the input side of a display content storage section and further, a mark display section 11 and a maximum digit number storage section 12. The outputs of the sections 10 and 11 are connected to the input side of a display control section 4. To the output side of the section 12, an overflow control section 13 and an alarm tone generating section 14 are connected in order.
