Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the control for the rotation of the blood pump for the artificial kidney and thus obtaining the blood flow of the fixed pressure, by using the conversion system using the light or magnetic field to the feedback system of the pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Light reception panel 7 possessing fan-shaped photoconductive element 9 connected to setting needle 2 is provided into Bourdon tube type pressure gauge containing index needle 1 and needle 2, along with electric fluorescent plate 4 and light masking plate 6 which turns with needle 1. When fluid pressure increases and needle 1 comes close to needle 2, the light is cut off to element 9 via plate 6. Thus the electric resistance of element 9 increases. This resistance variation output gives the control to the blood pump via the control circuit which is not shown in the diagram. Plate 6 contains bias part 15 having the triangular notched groove and is formed to secure central angle β which is larger than central angle α of element 9 in order to cover element 9 little by little. As a result, the proportional control can be improved between the pressure variation and the motor driving.
