Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an electrode wire to be stably fed by letting the welding wire draw a loop before the rollers of a constant-speed feed motor, detecting the sizes of said loop and performing driving controlling.

CONSTITUTION: A loop 2a is drawn by a welding electrode 2 between a leveler 4 and rollers 6, 6'. A loop part 9 provided with limit switches 11, 12 in the position sandwiching said loop 2a at above and below and further another limit switches 13, 14 on the outer side thereof is provided to the side part of the loop. Rollers 10, 10' which are driven by a loop-forming motor not illustrated are provided to the front part of the loop 2a and the second leveler 4' is provided in the rear part and leveling rollers 26, 26' are provided in the front part. The motors of the foregoing loop- forming rollers 10, 10' are drive-controlled by the illustrated control circuits. Namely, the output side of a reference voltage generating circuit 15 is inputted to one of an integrator 17 via the limit switch 11 and the output side of a reference voltage generating circuit 16 is connected to the contact 19 of a drive signal generator 18.
