Abstract

PURPOSE: To add the stack set to the information processor without stack set, without requiring the alteration of the operating software and hardware.
CONSTITUTION: The conventional register 8 consists of the registers 0W15 and it is controlled with the stack control registers R1 and R2. In the sinstruction format, OP is the operation code, R1 is the register number of the conventional register 8 storing the operand, and R2 is specific conventional register group constituting and controlling the stack. Since the main memory (stack) uses the operating software for the information processor without the stack set, it is located at the user's program area and used for the purpose. The stack control registers R2, R2+1 and R2+2 are not exclusive registers but use conventional registers.
