Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate influences such as electric discharge caused by static electricity, by constructing all main body part of the storage box and parts in the main body above, which may be touched with the operator's finger for device operations, with electric insulating materials.
CONSTITUTION: Base plate 2, driving part 3, carriage driving rod 4, carriage 5, head arm 6, magnetic head 7, disc pack 8, magnetic disc 9, signal processing circuit 10, spindle 11, belt 12, magnetic disc driving motor 13, relay circuit 14, blower 15, filter 16, and air duct 17 are stored in the storage box 1, and this box consists of upper room A and lower room B. Upper room A stores a unit which processes signals of comparatively weak current and low voltage, and lower room B stores a device for signals of comparatively large current and high voltage. Not only respective parts but also the handle and the display window frame of storage box 1 are formed with insulating plastic, so that noise caused by electric discharge can be eliminated.
