Abstract

PURPOSE: To offer users the service speedily while coping with the loss of a credit card, etc., rapidly by centralizing a verifier for credit numbers.
CONSTITUTION: Central credit verifier 1 is connected to each terminal transmitter- receiver 2 via terminal exchange station 3, central exchange station 4 and circuit 5. This verifier 1 is provided with exchange interface part 21 and a vertified number received by this interface part 21 from unit 2 is sent via signal reception part 22 to verification part 23, which makes a number check. Then, this checked number is compared to numbers in memory part 24 stored in lost credit numbers and nonpayment credit numbers and the result is transmitted from verification result transmission part 25 to interface part 21 to inform unit 2 of that rapidly. When this unit 2 uses terminal telephone set 6, audio transmitter 8 connected to central credit verifier 7 sends audio information on the comparison result of the number to telepone set 6.
