Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operability and maneuverability of a fully automatic drum type drying washing machine by controlling the drum type washing machine with a washing timer and a temperature detecting circuit for detecting the drying state of the clothes to be washed to thereby omit a drying timer and to reduce the size of the control unit.

CONSTITUTION: A timer 30 executed programs from washing and drying steps and consists of a main cam switch 31 operated upon rotation of a timer motor 37, cam switches 32 to 35, 42, reversible cam switch 36, and a speed converter 38. The switch 31 makes contact at its contact a side to rotate the motor 37 to proceed the program at washing step. After the washing step finishes, the switch 31 shifts to its contact b side. When the machine shifts to drying step, both the switch 32 and the switch 34 also shits to its contact b side. Thus, a motor, heater and fam motor are energized to dry the clothes, and a temperature sensor 40 detects the exhaust temperature to thereby deenergize the drying equipment to thus finish the washing step.
