Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten the load on operators, by widening a limit range when an abnormality is detected in comparison with limit values and by raising an important alarm when the abnormal state has progressed. CONSTITUTION:To supervise a plant, an input signal from the plant is compared with an upper and a lower limit values. When the input signal is lower or higher than these limit values, and alarm unit is operated and detailed indications are performed by a display. However, the face panel of the display is limited and it is difficult for the operators to grasp the trend in alarm input points. Therefore, the load on the operators is lightened by raising the important alarm. When the input signal exceeds the limit value, the upper and lower limit values are varied by a setting unit 20 and transmitted to a comparator unit 19. When the input signal exceeds the value varied, the important alarm is raised.
