【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、横長のパターヘッドのソール前方から後方
へ角度を付けたパターに関するものである。従来のパタ
ーヘッドは、かまえた時に縦長なため、ストローク中
に、ヘッドが、シャフトを軸として回転運動し易く、フ
ェース面を目標へ正対させ続けることが難しかった。さ
らに、不安定な運動をするため、芯を外し易く球足が安
定しなかった。そのため、毎回ストロークの安定に気を
取られ、距離感に集中しにくかった。また、ソール全体
に角度を付けてないので、ヘッドを横方向に大きくしす
ぎると、ソール後方が地面につかえて振り抜けなかっ
た。本発明は、それらの欠点を除くためになされたもの
で、それを図面にて説明すれば、パターヘッドを横長に
し、ソール（１）のフェース（２）側から後方へ角度を
持たせ、ヘッド中央にシャフト（３）を付けたパターで
ある。この様に、ヘッドが横長であるから、目標線上に
正しくかまえ易く、振りこの様に安定した運動をするの
で、芯を外すことなく球を目標へ打ち出すことが容易で
ある。さらに、ヘッド重量を効率良く球に伝えられるた
め、打感に一体感があり柔らかい。また、ソール全体に
付けた角度により、ヘッド後部が地面につかえることな
く、球を追う様に、まっすぐ低く長く振り抜けるので、
回転が良く球足が長い。したがって、毎回安定した良い
ストロークができ、より距離感に集中し易いので、初心
者、上級者とも、カップインする確率が格段に高まる。
なお、シャフトをヘッド後方に付ければバックスイング
が、前方に付ければフォロースイングがより強調されて
動くので、各人の個性や好みに合わせることができ、一
