1. An ink cartridge mounting structure in which a box-shaped ink cartridge containing recording ink is removably mounted from above between a pair of opposing side wall portions provided on a head holder that is open upward. An ink supply port formed on the bottom wall of the ink cartridge, and a connecting cylinder part protruding from the bottom wall of the head holder and connected to the ink supply port to supply the ink of the ink cartridge to the recording head. A pair of locking portions formed on the pair of side wall portions facing each other of the head holder, and a pair of elastic pieces provided on the ink cartridge, which can be engaged with the corresponding locking portions. And a pair of elastic pieces having different engaging portions, and an ink cartridge mounting structure.
