Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance internal pressure strength by forming a thin-walled shoulder part between the body part and neck part of a preform for a synthetic resin bottle and heating the preform so that the temp. of the body part becomes higher than that of the thin-walled shoulder part to subject the same to biaxial stretching blow molding to increase the thickness of the shoulder part without reducing the thickness of the body part. CONSTITUTION:A preform 4 is constituted of an opening edge part 6, a screw 5, a neck support ring 14, a thin-walled shoulder part 8, a body part 9 and a closed part 10. The preform 5 is fitted to a mandrel 12 to be rotated and the outside of the body part 9 is heated by a heater 13. By this heating, the thin-walled shoulder part 8 is heated to temp. lower than that of the body part. Then, the preform is set to a blow mold to be subjected to biaxial stretching blow molding. By this constitution, the shoulder part 8 is increased in thickness to the min. without reducing the wall thickness of the body part 9 and strength against internal pressure can be enhanced.

くなるといった欠点がある。本発明は、かかる欠点を解
決したものであり、肩部3の厚肉化をできるだけ抑制
し、内圧に対する形状維持を実現させたものである。
