Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain quick and accurate order entry by applying prescribed processing to information ordered by a ticket issuing machine, sending the processed information to an output device, displaying data corresponding to the ordered information, and printing out the corresponding display on a seel. CONSTITUTION:The ticket issuing machine 1 sends the information data of a food ticket selected in response to customer's selecting and purchasing operation to a controller 2. The controller 2 applies prescribed processing such as ordering processing and totalizing processing to the received information data, generates the sort of each food ticket, the number of dishes, issuing time, the order, etc., as a data signal and sends the data signal to a kitchen printer 3 arranged on a kitchen. The information data are displayed on the display of the printer 3 and printed out on a seal. A corresponding seal is stuck to a dish cooked in the kitchen and a waiter (or waitress) provides the dish with the seal to a customer having a food ticket with the same number. Since cooking can be started in the kitchen immediately after issuing a ticket, the generation of misorder, a miss in the order, etc., can be eliminated.
