よる変形及びかえりを簡易に除去矯正するための
装置に係り、冷間成形機の生産ラインの生産速度

尺切断の際に発生する角形管材両端の変形及びか
えりを略々完全に除去矯正することを目的とする
ものである。即ち、プレスカツトの際に発生した
角形管材両端の変形部分は、従来生産ライン外で
再切断(バイト、切断鋸或いは切断砥石による)
して切揃える必要があつた。このため、角形管材
の生産は能率が低く、また歩留りも低いという問
題があつた。

造並びに作用に就て詳細に説明する。第1図は本
考案装置の一実施例を示す平面図、第2図は第1
図のA−A線矢視生面図である。図面中1は自動
管材チヤツク装置を、2は油圧ピストン機構16
のロツド先端に端面矯正用ヘツド13を装着して
なる管材端面矯正ヘツド装置を夫々示している。
3は管材平行移送台装置の一部を示しており、管
材4は平行移送台装置上を第1図矢印の方向に移
送される。第4図は平行移送台装置3(鎖線)に
関連して作動する自動装入及び自動取出し装置を
備えた自動管材チヤツク装置1の構造並びに作用
を示すための説明用略図で、チヤツクは2個1組
の廻動式開閉型半割りチヤツク片5,5′によつ
て構成されており、各チヤツク片5,5′は夫々
例えばロータリーアクチユエータ(油圧駆動)の
ような回転駆動装置7,7′によつて回動させら
れる軸6,6′によつて回動するよう設けられて
いる。8はレバーで移送台装置3の移送面の下方
に固定された軸9によつて揺動可能に枢支されて
おり、該レバー8の先端には管材押出し用突起1
0が突設されており又其の基端部は連結桿11を
介して半割りチヤツク片5の略々中央部に連結さ
れていて、ロータリーアクチユエーター7に駆動
されて半割りチヤツク片5が矢印の方向に倒れて
チヤツクが開放されると同時にレバー8は連結桿
11を介して矢印方向に揺動して其の先端に設け
た押出し用突起10が、ストツパー12によつて
並列停止している管材中の最先の1本を該ストツ
パー12を越えて下方へ転出させ、該管材4が移
送台3上を滑下して、開口状態にある半割りチヤ
ツク5′に収納されるよう設けられている。尚上
記のチヤツク装置1は本来長尺の管材を取扱うた
めに同様のチヤツク装置1の複数個を第1及び2
図に示すように管材の長さ方向に並列状に配設さ
れ、協同して同期的に作動するよう設けられてい
る。第3図は管材端面矯正ヘツド装置2の端面矯
正用のヘツド13を示す部分図で、イは一部断面
正面図、ロはイのB−B矢視側面図である。14
は端面矯正用ヘツド13の前方に固設された角錐
体で図に示す本実施例の場合は生産されている角
形管材4に対応するよう四角錐状体を図示してい
る。15は角錐体14をプレスカツトによつて変
形した管端に向かつて油圧ピストン機構16によ
り楔状に押込む際に管端部外周辺を保持する保持
環で管材4の外周に遊嵌する程度の形状及び寸法
の内径形状に形成されている。

装置3上を滑下して半割りチヤツク片5′のチヤ
ツク部に嵌入する。次いで回転駆動装置7を作動
して半割りチヤツク片5を、チヤツクを閉鎖する
方向に回動させて、半割りチヤツク片5,5′に
よつて管材4を所定位置にチヤツクする。此の時

作業処理済みの管材4を保持した状態を保ちなが
ら回動させて、該管材4を移送台装置3上に載せ
換える。移送台に載せられた管材4は自重によつ
て移送台装置3上を滑下して排出されて行く。管
材4の排出が終ると同時に半割りチヤツク片5′
を原位置に復帰させて本考案の管材端面矯正装置
による管材の端面矯正作業の1サイクルを完了す
る。以上に説明したとおり、本考案装置は角形管
材のプレスカツトによる端面の変形部を完全に元
通り矯正するから、従来のように変形部を再切断
する必要がなく、歩留りを高めることができる。
また、角形管の冷間成形機ラインに容易に組入れ
ることができ、生産性を高めることができる。
