Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct astigmatism by incorporating an astigmatism correcting columnar lens in the optical part of an artificial eye lens. CONSTITUTION:In an artificial eye lens, a lens wherein a spherical or plane lens and a columnar lens for correcting astigmatism are incorporated in one lens is used as an optical part. For example, the optical part 1 is formed from a polymethyl methacrylate material and support parts 2, 3 are prepared from a polypropylene material and the optical part 1 is finished into a lens wherein the spherical or plane lens is affiliated with the astigmatism correcting columnar lens.
