最適な印字画を得ることができるファクシミリ装置を提

ミリ装置において、種類の異なった記録紙それぞれに施
された記録紙固有の識別表示情報を検出するセンサ手段
と、該センサ手段から送出された検出信号を解読して現
に装着されている記録紙の種類を判別する記録紙判別手
段と、記録紙の種類ごとに用意された印字コントロール
情報を記憶する印字パラメータ記憶手段と、前記記録紙
判別手段より送出された記録紙種類判別情報を基にして
前記印字コントロール情報の中から該当する印字コント
ロール情報を選択して記憶しておく印字制御手段と、該
印字制御手段に記憶されている該印字コントロール情報
に則って当該制御手段によって制御され、印字画を記録

２から送出された検出信号を解読して現に装着されてい
る記録紙７（第２図）の種類を判別する記録紙判別手段
、４は記録紙７の種類ごとに用意された印字コントロー
ル情報を記憶する印字パラメータ記憶手段（内部印字コ
ントロール情報部）、５は前記記録紙判別手段３より送
出された該記録紙種類判別情報を基にして前記印字コン
トロール情報の中から該当する印字コントロール情報を
選択して記憶しておく印字制御手段、６は該印字制御手
段５に記憶されている該印字コントロール情報に則って
当該制御手段５によって制御され、印字画を記録する記

って−若しくは複数のバーコードを付したり、または当
該記録紙の先端や所定箇所にその種類によって位置や大
きざの異なる穴を設ける等した識別表示情報たる識別表
示が施されていることを前提とする。始めに第２図に示
すようなバーコード８が付されたロール型記録紙＝ ５
−７を装着すると、第１図に示すようなバーコード読み取
り手段２にて種類の異なった記録紙それぞれに施された
記録紙固有の前述したようなバーコードが光学的に読み
取られる。すると該センサ手段２から送出されてきた検
出信号を記録紙判別手段３にて解読して現に装着されて
いる記録紙の種類がいかなるものか判別する。そして該
記録紙判別手段３より送出されてきた記録紙種類判別情
報を基にして印字制御手段５では、内部印字コントロー
ル情報部４に記憶されている記録紙の種類ごとに用意さ
れた印字コントロール情報の中から、該当する印字コン
トロール情報を選別し、かつ記憶するようにする。ここ
で当該印字コントロール情報は、種類の異なったそれぞ
れの記録紙に対して印字速度（ライン／ｍ５ｅｃ）およ
び記録ヘッド（図示せず）に印加すべき信号のパルス幅
を対応せしめたテーブルを想定して記憶されている。こ
のようにしておけば、ファクシミリ画信号受信時、コピ
ー時およびジャーナル出力要求時にあっても、該印字制
御部５に記憶されている該印字コントロ−ル情報に則っ
て制御される記録手段６の記録ヘッドにより前記記録紙

イッチ等を用いた機械式の穿設孔検出手段を用いること
