する回転運動)を許容し得る適度の柔軟性を持つことが

1に例示するようなヘッドスライダ支持機構が使用され
ている。【0004】同図において、荷重用ビーム1は先端部が
先細となり、その両縁には補強用のフランジ2が設けら
れており、その他端側には弾性部3を介して、キャリッ
ジ固定部4が連設されている。【0005】取付部材5は低可撓性材料からなり、その
右半部にはヘッドスライダ取付部6を挾むようにして1
対の片持梁部7が設けられている。また、ヘッドスライ
ダ取付部6の中央部には荷重付加用突起部8が形成され

力に対して十分な強度を得られなくなる。この発明は、
上記欠点を解決するためになされたもので、ヘッドスラ
イダの負荷荷重が小さい場合でも、弾性部の面内方向の
剛性を高く保ち、ヘッドスライダと記憶媒体面との間に
生ずる摩擦力および粘性流体力に対しても十分な強度を
持つヘッドスライダ支持機構を有する磁気記録再生装置
を提供するものである。【0009】【課題を解決するための手段】上記の目的を達成するた
めに本発明においては、記憶媒体への情報の記録及び再
生を行う磁気ヘッドと、この磁気ヘッドが取り付けら
れ、前記記憶媒体への情報の記録及び再生を行う際に、
少なくとも一部が該記憶媒体と接触するように構成され
るヘッドスライダと、このヘッドスライダが取り付けら
れる取付部材と、この取付部材を一端に接続する荷重用
ビームと、この荷重用ビームの他端に接続され、該荷重
用ビームを介して前記ヘッドスライダに荷重を負荷する
ため該荷重用ビームよりも低剛性に構成された弾性部
と、この弾性部を支持するとともに、前記記憶媒体上で
前記磁気ヘッドを移動させるために設けられる駆動手段
とを有し、前記弾性部は、孔部により複数に分割されて
いることを特徴とする磁気記録再生装置とした。【0010】【作用】軽荷重の場合、従来の弾性部ではバネ部の長さ

する。図2は、この発明に係る磁気記録再生装置に用い
られるヘッドスライダ支持機構の一実施例を示す。荷重
用ビーム13は一端に一対の片持梁20、ヘッドスライ
ダ22、およびヘッドスライダ取付部21を有し、他端
に弾性部15が形成されている。また、弾性部15はキ
ャリッジ固定部16を介してキャリッジアーム17に連
接されている。ここで、弾性部15は荷重用ビーム13
と一体的に形成されているが、実質的なバネ作用部とし
ての機能はフランジ14により分離されており、弾性部
15の剛性は、荷重用ビーム13の剛性よりも低くなっ
