この電子棚札システムは、店舗内に設置した送受信機と商品陳列棚に装着された電子棚札とが無線で交信し、商品ファイル等を記憶したサーバー機能のあるコンピュータからなるストアコントローラからＬＡＮ接続された管理装置（棚札コントローラ）及び送受信機径由で価格データ等が前記電子棚札に送信表示されるようになっている。

この電子棚札システムによれば、実際の販売価格と各商品の棚札の表示価格を自動的に一致させることが出来る。それにより、価格変更に伴う棚札の付け替えの手間を解消できると共に、棚札の付け替えミス等の発生を防止できる等の効果が発揮される。

しかし、電子棚札システムに使用する電子棚札は、表示面積や表示可能な色の種類などがある程度限定される。従って、特売等の理由から電子棚札の表示を目立たせる必要がある場合にも、十分にお客の目を引く表示ができないという欠点がある。
この電子棚札システムにおける上記欠点を補うために、特売等の特別な商品にはその棚についている電子棚札の近くにＰＯＰ広告を取り付ける方法が採用されている。

又、電子棚札表示器に、特売の開始時に、特売の期間が一日なら「Ｄ」、一週間なら「Ｗ」、一ヶ月なら「Ｍ」を表示して特売の期間に応じた、例えば「今週の特売」のようなＰＯＰ広告を行う場合にはある程度慣れた作業員（店員）であれば広告の表示内容からどのＰＯＰ広告を取り付けたらよいかが分かるようになっているものもある（例えば、特許文献１参照。）。

しかし、電子棚札表示器に期間を表示する記号が表示されていても、ＰＯＰ広告には期間に限らず様々な種類があり、販促を理解できる程度に慣れている作業員でないとどのＰＯＰ広告を取付けるべきかが明確には分からない、という問題があった。

本発明は、上記した従来の技術が有する問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とするところは、慣れない作業者であっても電子棚札表示器にＰＯＰの種類を記号で表示してもどのＰＯＰ広告を装着すべきかが容易に分かる表示を備えた電子棚札システム及びＰＯＰ表記具を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成する為に本発明の電子棚札システムは、商品陳列棚に商品毎に装着された電子棚札表示器に管理装置の指示により商品の値段等を表示する電子棚札システムにおいて、広告表記とＰＯＰの種類の表記がされ、電子棚札表示器或いはその近傍に装着されるＰＯＰ表記具と、電子棚札表示器にはＰＯＰの種類を表示できるＰＯＰ種類表示部と、を備えたことを特徴とする（請求項１）。
この構成により、電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類表示部に表示された表記と、ＰＯＰ表記具に表記されたＰＯＰの種類の表記とに基づいて、電子棚札表示器に対してＰＯＰの種類を間違いなく取付けることが出来る。

そして、電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類表示部及びＰＯＰ表記具におけるＰＯＰの種類の表記は、同じマークで表記、表示する（請求項２）。そのマークとしては、例えば図形「○」、「△」、「□」、或いはそれらの組み合わせ「○△」、文字記号（アルファベット、数字）等が挙げられる。
それにより、慣れない作業者でも電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類表示部に表示されたマークと同じマークが表記されたＰＯＰ表記具を選ぶことで、ＰＯＰ表示を間違いなくできる。

又、ＰＯＰ広告の表示を有する表記具は、電子棚札表示器と組み合わせて使用する形態、或いは電子棚札表示器と組み合わせず、該電子棚札表示器の近傍に独立して装着する形態など何れでもよいが、どちらの場合でもＰＯＰ広告の表示とＰＯＰ種類の識別表記を備えているものとする（請求項３）。
それにより、電子棚札表示器と対で使用するＰＯＰ表記具の選択を容易に行うことができる。
更に、ＰＯＰ表記具の具体的構造としては、電子棚札表示器を係着可能であると共に、平板に、電子棚札表示器の表示部が現出する窓を開設し、その窓より上側の周縁部分にＰＯＰ広告の表記を、窓より下側の周縁部分にＰＯＰ種類の表記を備えた構成とする（請求項４）。
この場合は、お客様に無関係なＰＯＰ種類表記を、ＰＯＰ広告表記から離すことができ、お客様に違和感を与えないように出来る。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図１は、本発明に係る電子棚札システムの概要を示すシステム図で、図中、１は商品陳列棚に取り付けられた電子棚札表示器で、この電子棚札表示器１は店舗内の天井等に配置された送受信機２を介して赤外線により管理装置３から商品データを受信できるように構成されている。
そして、上記電子棚札表示器１への商品の価格表示は、商品ファイル４等を記憶したサーバー機能のあるコンピュータからなるストアコントローラ５からＬＡＮ接続された管理装置（棚札コントローラ）３及び送受信機２径由で赤外線通信により価格データが供給表示されるように構成されている。
更に、前記管理装置（棚札コントローラ）３にはＰＯＰ種類テーブル７が記憶されている。

上記ストアコントローラ５に記憶される商品ファイル４には、図８に示すように、商品毎に、商品コード、棚札ＩＤ（棚札としての識別番号）、品名、単価、特売価、特売開始日、特売終了日、ＰＯＰ種類番号等の項目が設定できるようになっている。
又、前記ストアコントローラ５は、各売り場に設置される各レジスター６とＬＡＮで接続され、データの授受を行うことができるようになっている。

上記管理装置（棚札コントローラ）３に記憶されるＰＯＰ種類テーブル７は、図９に示すように、ＰＯＰ広告の種類を番号で整理し、その番号毎に、表示マーク（例えば「○」、「△」、「□」等の図形）、広告表記（例えば、「おすすめ品」、「広告の品」、「値下げしました」、「大安売」等）を設定できるようになっている。

電子棚札表示器１は、図２に示すように、ケース１ｃに、価格等（特売価格、通常価格、割引率等）を表示する液晶表示器１ａと赤外線送受信部１ｂが収容され、且つケースの外側には前記液晶表示器１ａと並んで、品名や商品バーコード、棚札ＩＤ等を印刷した商品情報ラベル８が貼付されて構成されている。そして、この電子棚札表示器１は、大きさに大・小の寸法があり、商品によって使い分けされる。
上記液晶表示器１ａは一般的に７セグメントの表示器で、数字のみを表示するようになっている。尚、図中の「円」と「割引」は切欠き文字であり、変更できるものではない。尚、ケース１ｃの前面外周には後述するＰＯＰ表記具１２と組み合わせ一体化する係合段部１３が形成されている。

更に、電子棚札表示器１の液晶表示器１ａにはＰＯＰ種類の表示を行うＰＯＰ種類表示部９が設けられている。
そのＰＯＰ種類表示部９に表示される表示内容は、ＰＯＰ広告の種類を表すマーク（例えば「○」、「△」、「□」等の図形）が点灯表示されるようになっている。尚、図２におけるＰＯＰ種類表示部９は「○」が点灯表示された状態を示している。

上記構成の電子棚札表示器１は、図３に示すように商品陳列棚１０の前端面に装備されたレール部材１１に対して装着される。
レール部材１１は、商品陳列棚１０に取り付けた固定部１１ａと、該固定部１１ａの前面に傾斜角度を可変可能に形成したレール本体部１１ｂとにより構成された合成樹脂成形品で、レール本体部１１ｂは電子棚札表示器１を側方からスライド自在に装着し、その上下から挟み込むように押える棚札用レール１１ｃを備えている。

そして、商品陳列棚１０のレール部材１１に装着される電子棚札表示器１のうち、特売等の特別な商品の電子棚札表示器１には図３に示すようなＰＯＰ表記具１２が取付けられ、お客の目を引くように構成されている。
そのＰＯＰ表記具１２は、図４に示すように薄い合成樹脂製平板を用いて前記した電子棚札表示器１の外形より上下左右方向に張り出す延出部を備えた矩形状に形成し、その矩形平板の中央よりやや下方にずらして電子棚札表示器１の前面に設けた係合段部１３が嵌合する窓１４が開設され、且つその窓１４を開設した平板の一側面には該窓１４より上側にＰＯＰ広告の表記部１５が、窓１４より下側の右隅にはＰＯＰ種類を表すマークを表示する表記部１６が設けられている。

上記のＰＯＰ広告の表記部１５及びＰＯＰ種類の表記部１６の面（正面）は、赤色や青色等の目立つ色で全体が彩色され、それにより窓１４から電子棚札表示器１の前面（液晶表示器１ａ及び商品情報ラベル８）が見えるようになっているので、大きく目立つ棚札の印象を与える。
そして、前面を彩色した正面の表記部１５にはＰＯＰ広告の情報（図９に示すＰＯＰ種類テーブルに設定されている広告表記）が表記され、表記部１６にはＰＯＰ種類を表すマークが表記される。

又、上記ＰＯＰ表記具１２は、図４に示すようにＰＯＰ広告の表記部１５とＰＯＰ種類の表記部１６を備えた正面と反対の面（裏面）には、前記電子棚札表示器１を係着保持する係着手段１７が設けられている。
その係着手段１７は、ＰＯＰ表記具の窓１４に表示部が嵌め込まれた電子棚札表示器１をその裏側から押圧して表記具１２と電子棚札表示器１を一体化させるもので、電子棚札表示器１の厚みに相当する高さを備えた断面略Ｌ形の押え枠１７ａ，１７ｂが窓１４の幅方向口縁の外側に接着されて構成されている（図６、７参照）。

そして、上記ＰＯＰ表記具１２を電子棚札表示器１に装着するときは、図１０（ａ）に示すように，先ずＰＯＰ表記具１２の幅方向両側を指で挟んで係着手段１７が設けられた裏面側を弓形に膨出させて押え枠間の間隔Ｌ１を電子棚札表示器１の横幅寸法Ｌ２より広げる。その状態で図１０（ｂ）に示すように電子棚札表示器１の前面側から押し付け、左右方向に開いている係着手段１７の押え枠１７ａ，１７ｂを電子棚札表示器１の幅方向外側から被せて係着することで両者を一体化することが出来る。
尚、係着手段１７は図示した構造に限定されず、例えば、電子棚札表示器のケースにスリットを形成し、他方、ＰＯＰ表記具１２側に前記スリットに嵌る突片等を設ける方式などでもよい。

上記した実施の形態はＰＯＰ表記具を電子棚札表示器に装着する形態であるが、ＰＯＰ表記具は電子棚札表示器に装着せずにその電子棚札表示器の近傍に配置するようにしてもよい。即ち、図１１に示すように、電子棚札表示器１を取り付けたレール部材１１に、ＰＯＰ広告の表記部１５とＰＯＰ種類のマークを表示する表記部１６を備えたＰＯＰ表記具１２’を取付けてもよい。

次に、電子棚札表示器に対するＰＯＰ表記具の取り付け処理について説明する。
ａ．先ず、朝の開店時にオペレータが管理装置３を操作してＰＯＰ表記具１２の取付処理をスタートさせる。
ｂ．管理装置３は、ストアコントローラ５の商品ファイル４を参照して商品ファイル４内で本日が特売開始日である全商品を検索し、該当するＰＯＰ種類データとして表示マークデータを該当する電子棚札表示器１に送信する。
ｃ．前記ＰＯＰ種類データを受信した電子棚札表示器１は、このデータに基づいてＰＯＰ種類表示部９の該当するマークのセグメントを点灯、或いは点滅させる。
ｄ．オペレータは電子棚札表示器１のＰＯＰ種類表示部９に表示されたＰＯＰ種類マークと同じマークが、表記部１６に表示されたＰＯＰ表記具１２を選択し、電子棚札表示器１に取り付ける。この作業を、ＰＯＰ種類表示部９にマークが点灯或いは点滅で表示された他の電子棚札表示器１に対しても同様に行う。

本発明は上記した実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を変更しない範囲で下記のような変更が可能である。
▲１▼ 商品ファイルに設定される特売開始日，特売終了日は、月日に限らず、年や時分を含めてもよい。又、ＰＯＰ種類や前記の特売開始日，特売終了日のデータは他のファイルに設けてもよい。
▲２▼ 管理装置によるＰＯＰ表記具の取付け指示は、特売商品に限らず、ＰＯＰ種類データと、開始，終了のデータさえあれば可能である。
▲３▼ 電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類の表示は、図形等のマークに限らず、ＰＯＰ種類番号を表示し、その表示に対応する表記がＰＯＰ表記具にあればよい。
▲４▼ 商品データとして設定するＰＯＰ種類番号は、電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類を表示できるＰＯＰ種類データであればどのようなデータを設定してもよい。また、ＰＯＰ種類テーブルを設定すると番号、マーク、表記の関係がわかり易くなるが、このテーブルはなくとも実施可能ではある。

【発明の効果】
本発明の電子棚札システムは請求項１記載の構成により、慣れない作業者であっても電子棚札表示器のＰＯＰ種類表示部に表示された記号によって、どのＰＯＰ表記具を取り付けるべきか容易に判断できる。そして、ＰＯＰ種類表示部の表示と対応する記号が表記されたＰＯＰ表記具を選択すればよいため、ＰＯＰ広告の間違いを減少できる。
又、請求項２記載の構成により、ＰＯＰ種類の表示を、大きなスペースを必要とせずに、しかも文字の表示に比べて見やすく明確に表示することができる。
更に、請求項３記載の構成により、容易に区分けできるＰＯＰ表記具を提供できる。
また、請求項４記載の構成により、お客に提供する必要のないＰＯＰ種類の表記を、ＰＯＰ広告の表記から離すことができ、お客に違和感を与えないＰＯＰ表記具を提供できる。
